Now, let’s get into it..
Winter Class Party Games & Activities
1. Snowballs Toss

Have the kids line up and take turns tossing “snowballs” into buckets. We found really cool fake snowballs on Amazon that are perfect for this game but you could also use regular cotton balls, balled up socks/paper or marshmallows!
2. Candy Cane Fishing

Each kid gets their own wooden “fishing” dowel with a candy cane “hook” tied to a ribbon and see how many candy canes they can fish out! Everyone gets to keep any candy canes they fish out as their prize.
⭐️ This is a super easy one too since all you need to do between groups of kiddos is quickly add some more candy canes to each cup.
3. Pin the button on the gingerbread man

A fun twist on “pin the tail on the donkey” is a perfect winter class party game idea! Personally I think this version is adorable but you could also do “pin the nose on the snowman” or even, “pin the nose on Rudolph”
4. Snowman Wrap

Divide into teams and choose one member to be the snowman. Set a timer for 1 minute and let the teams get to work wrapping and decorating their snowman. When the timer goes off the class takes a vote on which snowman is the best!
Alternatively, you can divide into groups and have it be a race to see which team finishes their snowman first!
5. Roll a snowman

Have enough dice for everyone in the group and let them see who can finish building their snowman first!
Winter Class Party Snacks
Most schools have strict policies about only allowing store-bought foods to be shared in class. All of these winter class party snack ideas are just fun ways to spruce up those store bought items!
6. Snowman string cheese

Quick and easy using only a sharpie to draw on a snowman face, scarf and hat!
7. Reindeer pudding cups

How cute are these little guys? Small red pom poms, googly eyes, brown pipe cleaners and a hot glue gun is all you need for these adorable pudding cups!
8. Snowman cookie dippers

This time of year you can find some pretty delicious dippers like these to draw on and dress up as snowmen. So cute!
9. Snowman popcorn cups

Not exactly store bought but some schools will allow you divide up store bought popcorn into cups. This is just a fun idea to spruce up otherwise boring plastic cups!
10. Tree applesauce pouches

The kids go crazy for these applesauce pouches. Here’s a fun way to make them a bit more festive!
Winter Class Party Crafts
Whats a kids party without a craft or two? These are low-mess crafts that don’t involve paint or glitter so that the teacher doesn’t lose their mind LOL
11. Popsicle snowflakes

Use colored popsicle sticks and have the kids to glue them together in a snowflake shape. Then they are free to decorate them as they wish with gems, pom-poms, markers, etc.
12. Paper snowman

You draw the snowman outlines and pre-cut the shapes, they glue them as they wish!
13. Decorate a snow hat

Let the kiddos decorate their own snow hat using cotton balls, stickers, do-a-dot markers, etc!
14. Decorate a sweater

Make your own ugly winter sweater. This is super easy and low-prep!
15. Hot cocoa name craft

I’m obsessed with these little hot cocoa mugs! Instead of paint you can use markers to let them decorate their mug. Another great idea would be to pre-cut “marshmallows” with letters on them in advance and let the kiddos spell out their own name instead of writing it on afterwards.
Other Fun Party Ideas
16. Goody Bags

What’s a party without a goody bag to take home? I love these and it’s a great way to send home any crafts they made during the party too!
17. Decorate the classroom

If time allows, decorate the classroom a bit to make it festive! Something easy like red and green table clothes or a few things you can pick up at the dollar tree can go a long way in creating a fun environment!
18. A small photo booth

I love the idea of setting a small photo area and bringing a camera like the Instax Mini to take a quick photo of each kiddo. Would be perfect to slip into a goody bag as a keepsake too!
Tips For a Stress-Free Classroom Party
Class parties don’t need to be “Pinterest perfect” – remember they’re for the kids! The kids will remember the laughter and games way more than the small details.
Be sure to send this to your room mom group to share all these fun ideas and see which ones you all think would be best for your class 🙂
